Marva became Sailor Lucina during the wars with the Surlord. Surlord's queen killed her mother, while they were trying to provoke the former Sailor Avena. Lucina has devoted her time mastering her knowledge and skills for the honor of her mother and Queen Kitra. Lucina immediately became close to Avena. Over the years she fell in love with Avena and has devoted her life to her. She wants to give Avena the understandings of life that Avena seeks but finds it difficult to do so.
