In the Level II class, the Art History brush is used to turn a basic photograph into a simulation of a painting. After creating a clipping mask layer over the original layer, a grey overlay is put above. Filters are discussed and used to make a canvas like appearance above the painting.
The first image is the original image file used in class and the second is the finished image file.
